Perfect Grind Spots 2.

Another set of the grind spots on different planets. Personally I prefer the old ones for Haven and Bokor , however this spot for Ceres 2 seems much more better.

Glu : Wi-Fi / Online Problems.

This is a statement from GLU about Wi-Fi crashing.

This mainly applies to Gun Bros, Star Blitz and Eternity Warriors on the Apple platform. Some Android versions may also experience this problem.


If you experience a crash at loading the game especially after the Glu logo is displayed but the game works OK in Airplane mode or when Wi-Fi is turned off, our team has recently discovered the problem. It happens especially if you have attempted to invite friends using the Glu Games Network within the app in the past.


The fix will require a game update unfortunately. There is no 

Achievements : Pistoleer.

To complete this achievement , kill 1000 targets using Whippersnappers.

Make sure you kill the first 100 @ Ceres 2 Revolution 1 , or it wont work.

With all the recent crashing and multiplayer bugs , Ive decided to post this link to make sure everyone can contact GLU directly and let them now about problems you are having.


Actually , I see many people making threads @ mobile forums but its just uselees , the forums arent there to contact with support team.


So all you have to do is go to this link http://glumobile.custhelp.com and open a ticket indicating your problem.


Also , @ the same page , you can leave your feedback. I sent them all the feedback from What Bros Are Missing post , thanks for participating.

Quick Tip : Health Granade.

I saw this tip in a thread @glu gunbros mobile forums. Its pretty simple : dont buy any health power-ups except Health Granades.


If you want a Health Bomb , buy 3 Health Granades. It will cost you 450 coins , saving 10 coins each time.


If you want a Health Nuke , buy 9 Health Granades. It will cost you 1350 coins , saving 130 coins each time.

Achievements : Rifleman.

To complete this achievement , kill 1000 targets using Gauss Rifle.

Results : Celestial Set is better. Dont spend your warbucks on Plague , better save them to buy Infinity armor.


All testing was done using a high leveled bro , starting on horde 1. Each armor set was tested 3 times.

What Bros Are Missing.

It seems like this is a pretty popular thread between Gun Bros players , so Ive decided to make a small analysis of some possible features which GLU may add to the game. Post all your ideas in comments so we can discuss them and send the feedback to GLU support team.


New Planet.
Its pretty likely to happen in near feature , since GLU already have demonstrated theyve got no troubles with adding new planets.
However we can only doubt about the design of the planet , something tropical would be cool imo :)


New Weapons , Armor Sets , Bug Fix. 
All these are a must. They should keep adding more stuff to the game to keep the interest of the players and of course to keep making money from the ingame buys.


Lots of bugs should be fixed as soon as possible , such as multiplayer crashing , bro-ops progress , Predator Rifle type etc.


Player VS Player.
This one is pretty unlikely , because of different reasons.


First of all , the concept of the game its totally opposite : its based on the teamplay.


Second , this update will require another wipe , leaving all bros @ lvl 1 and reseating gold / warbucks. Since this have been done recently , generating huge negative feedback , I doubt GLU will repeat it in the near future.


An alternative would be adding a possibility to invite more than 1 bro to play online , which will make it much more fun.

Weapon Test : Infinity Laser vs Predator Rifle.

This is a full comparison made by Warlord Of Mars. All testing was done on Bokor starting on horde 1 and staying in a stationary location.Primary bro used was lvl 100+ having max critical chance on the weapon. Each armor/weapon test was done three times and in alternatng pattern.The results are averages of three rounds.


Infinity Laser Rifle.

Results: Even in Infinity Armor the Predator outscored Infinity Rifle , except for the kill steak.

Armor Sets : Hunter vs Taxi.

As a little introduction I would like to say that there are a lot of different armor sets in this game , but overall we can separate them in two big categories : heavy sets and light sets. To decide which one to buy I suggest you not only looking @ the stats of each concrete piece of the set , but also having in mind what weapon are you using and what will be the next set your planning to buy.

Also something you should know is that in some cases is better not buying a concrete set but mixed pieces from different sets.

Okay , so in todays review we will take a look on 2 different heavy sets and try to compare them.

Hunter Set. 

Tested on Bokor starting horde 1 using a high lvled bro. The test was done without moving , staying @ the center of the planet.

Results :

Survive Time : 4:20

Targets Serviced : 579

Score :246140

Best Steak : 167

Total Stats :

Atk + 35%

Def + 9%

Speed -24%

Taxi Set.

Tested in exact same situation as the previous one.

Quick Tip : Bro Buffs.

With this section we will try to help players who are new to the game. Thanks to one of my bros (DuckMe) for giving me the idea and for making the research.


To get it started , lets see whats the bro buffs are. Remeber that one of the most important part of this game is adding bros to your brotherhood. As I sad earlier , the bigger is your hood , more warbucks you get. But thats not the only reason. Keep adding more players and you will get special bonuses which will help you in your lvling process improving the stats of your bro. You can check the buffs available for you going to the bros window => bro buffs.

The only thing you have to do to recieve the buffs is invite the number of friends indicated in the picture.

Perfect Grind Spots On Each Planet.

These spots are very usefull if you are trying to compleate all revolutions and make as much perfect waves as possible.

Cerberus Prime.

The mobs will spawn @ the  right and down side of the map.
I recommend using Predator Rifle for this one , since you can easily shoot through the rock.


Haven.

The mobs will spam @ the down side of the map. Use a heavy weapon here to kill em faster.


Ceres 2.

The mobs will spawn from the down side of the map.Also use a heavy weapon here , although be carefull @ high waves , it could be hard to mantain the mobs out of your bro.

Xplodium : make your bro a millionaire!

Alright , all you need to reach 1.000.000 coins is : 3.5h of your time , our lvling guide and  10 war bucks.


So , you choose the single player mode , go to Bokor and start horde 1. Then you play a session of 15 mins , compleating 63 waves aprox. and earning +-44500 Xplodium if you follow our guide.


Once done , you choose premium window in the refinery and buy a 160% one , which costs 10 WB.

Then you convert your Xplodium , making aporx. 71300 coins. Dont wait till converting process is over , start another game and play 15 min session. Once you are back to the refinery , collect your coins and start another conversion.


Repeat this for 3,5h and you will become a millionaire.


Note that this technique was tested with top geared bro (infinity armor and coronal ejector). There are also few different ways to make this amount of coins , but you will have to play much more consecutive minutes and waves. Since this way your playing only 15 min straight you can make brakes , and portion these 3,5h during the day.

War Bucks Weapons.

Before starting with armor sets , lets have a little overview on WB weapons. The best point about this weapons is that most of them are available from lvl 0 (or low lvls) , so if you dont mind spending $ you can have the top guns from the very beginning , which will make your lvling much easier.
Although most of them are perfectly replaceble by coin weapons which in some cases are even better. 


Lets take a look on some of the WB weapons :

Personally I dont like neither pistols / shotguns , so I think these two are not worth it. Anyway if your looking on thins kind of weapons , check better the coin ones , with similar stats.

Mine Droppers.

This category is only available with WB. Its not a shooting weapon. Basically you drop the mines all around and wait till mobs exploit them making lot of dmg. I think its not essential for lvling , but if you have WB and wanna get something new you could give it a chance.
